Longleng, March 2 (MExN): As part of its year-long Golden Jubilee celebration, the Nagaland Bar Association (NBA) organised a legal awareness programme at Longleng on February 27 at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall.
NBA Joint Secretary N Kevichusa in a press release stated that the programme was attended by the Deputy Commissioner, GBs and Dobashis of Longleng district with resource persons speaking on various topics such as Women’s Rights, Role of GBs, DBs and Village Councils and various welfare schemes available to the public.
With the first of the programme being flagged off at Peren, the NBA planned to continue its year-long campaign in all districts as part of its Jubilee celebration. These programmes are being organised in collaboration with the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA).
