NMHPK notifies on vehicular movement

Kohima, March 2 (MExN): The New Ministers Hill Panchayat Kohima (NMHPK) has resolved to control vehicular movements during school hours so as to avoid traffic congestions. As such, the Panchayat have kept a “NO ENTRY” signboard from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm for vehicles coming from Old Ministers Hill and Mohonkhola towards LFHS School. All vehicles, buses or private vehicles, should take the road through South Police Station or, P.Shilu Ao Road- way to Tourist Lodge as “IN” and via Panchayat Hall towards Old Ministers Hill/ Mohonkhola as “OUT” during these hours.


The NMHPK has requested all the general public, parents and students of Little Flower Higher Secondary School and Vineyard School to strictly adhere to the resolution of the colony and the Panchayat. The Panchayat and the colony youth will maintain strict vigil and no complaints will be entertained for any action taken to defaulters. This was informed in a press release issued by Neibo-o Kire and Lima Imsong, Chairman and Secretary of NMHPK.
