The winning team from Delhi Public School (DPS) Dimapur choir during the Inter DPS Western Vocal Choir Competition held at DPS Faridabad on October 13.
Dimapur, October 24 (MExN): The Delhi Public School (DPS) Dimapur choir won the Champions Trophy at the Inter DPS Western Vocal Choir Competition for the sixth time in a row solidifying its position as an undisputed champion in the field of choral music.
DPS Dimapur Principal BK Nanda while announcing the result stated in a press release that Amvi Swu of Class XI Arts also broke the jinx in the solo category by winning the 3rd position.
The event was held at DPS Faridabad on October 13, 2018 drawing the participation of 40 Delhi Public Schools. Amit Kilam (Indian Ocean), Sonam Sherpa and Himanshu Joshi (Parikrama) were among the panel of judges besides notable music teachers from across the country.
After the Puja break, the members of the school Choir were also felicitated during the school assembly on October 23.
