Mon, October 24 (MExN): Inter-school poster competition 2018 under the theme Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao was held on October 24 at DC’s conference hall Mon. Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS in his keynote address said that Mon is one of the districts selected under multi sectoral action as it has shown the second highest decline in CSR since 2001 census. Objective of poster competition is to sensitize young boys and girls to the importance of educating and empowering the girl child. The programme was chaired by Asst. Commissioner (Probationer) Mon, Dharam Raj IAS. Vote of thanks was delivered by Asst. District Education Officer, Mon and distributed the prize to the winner.
