TUENSANG, NOVEMBER 1 (MExN): The annual sports and games of St. John’s Hr. Sec. School, Tuensang was officially inaugurated by N Bongkhao Konyak, Advisor, DUDA as the special invitee on November 1.
In his inaugural address, Konyak asked the students to be well disciplined to bring the spirit of oneness and unity through sports. He further told to the gathering that St. John’s Tuensang is the one of the old institutions in the ENPO area which produced great intellectuals and leaders for the state and society. He requested the public to support and help the institution to grow further.
L Jamithung Lotha, DC, Tuensag, asked the students to put together physical education and class room education, so that one can achieve the education in full.
Col. Khan, Addll. DIG, 7th Sector, AR, Tuensang, who spoke on the occasion asked the students to make use the opportunity of annual sports as to create a leadership quality in oneself. Bharat Laxman Markand, IPS, SP, Tsng, while attending the programme told to the students that future of the state depends on the students.
