Football trails for upcoming talents underway in Kohima

The upcoming budding footballers during the trail on Friday at IG Stadium, Kohima.

Kohima, March 1 (MExN): Sudeva Residential Football School is currently conducting selection trails for U-13, U-15 and U-18 in Kohima at IG Stadium.
On March 1, 84 upcoming footballers below the age of 18 turned up for the football trails.


Anuj Gupta co-owner of the academy stated the event saw some ‘great untouched football talents’ even though the turn up was low, noting that Kohima has lot of untapped natural talents, a press note informed.


He also assured that will that Sudeva Club will take couple of players from Friday talent hunt and trial planned on 3rd March to Delhi on scholarship, it added.


Meanwhile, the organizers informed that the second selection trails will be held till March 3rd beginning from 12 PM to 5 PM with on spot registration fee at Rs. 299.


The trials will be personally helmed by Anuj Gupta and Vijay Hakari, it said.

Sudeva club are currently playing in second division I-league and also owns CD Olympic Xativa – 3rd division club in Spain.


The organisers informed that the players who are selected would get a chance to play in Spain or be a part of Sudeva’s Residential Football School, New Delhi and become part of Sudeva I-League teams in their respective age groups.
