Assam: Traders threaten strike against licence fee hike

A proposed hike in renewal of labour registration licence, an increase of up to 10 times, could affect thousands of small and marginal traders in the state. The state government had notified the increase in July 2016, but had not implemented it all this while because of the stiff opposition the move has met.
