The old Saraighat Bridge, which has been closed for almost three months for repairing work, was reopened on Thursday. The double-decker, rail-cum-road bridge was closed on March 23, making this the longest-ever phase of repair work that the bridge had to go through, since it was opened for public use in 1963.
