Assam artistes take anti-CAA route to join politics ahead of polls

Over 60 frontline members of Assam’s artiste fraternity, who had lent their voices to the anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act movement in the state riding on All Assam Students’ Union (Aasu) seven months ago, on Tuesday split into two to join Congress and BJP ahead of the assembly election.
