Assam doctors want heart disease screening, registry of patients

Conservative estimates peg the number of heart failure patients in India at 80 lakh to 1 crore, but not many can say the difference between heart failure and heart attack. Worse, 23% of heart failure patients in India die within a year of diagnosis.
