Over 1,000 rebels of five outfits lay down arms before Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal

A total of 1,040 cadre of five militant groups active in Karbi Anglong district of Assam surrendered before chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal in Guwahati on Tuesday.
