Stir over withdrawal of mandatory Assamese paper from APSC exam

Congress, other opposition parties and different organisations have strongly opposed the state cabinet's decision to withdraw the mandatory Assamese language paper from the state civil service exam conducted by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) and demanded that the decision be withdrawn at the earliest.
