Sonapur farmers cultivate citronella, lemongrass to keep jumbos away

Many farmers in the man-elephant conflict areas of Sonapur on the eastern fringes of Guwahati have switched to lemongrass and citronella cultivation as the scent of these crops have been found to be effective elephant repellants.
