The second North East India Festival, which is regarded as one of the biggest programmes of trade culture and tourism exchange of the region, is going to be held in Bangkok from February 21 to February 23. The initiative is presented by North Eastern Council and Indian Embassy at Thailand.

Lauding both Houses of Parliament for enacting the CAA, the President said the process of granting citizenship to people of all religions remains unchanged but provisions have been introduced to ensure this "does not have any adverse cultural impact on any region, especially the northeast".
