Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) in collaboration with Nagaland State Disaster Mission, Home Guards & Civil Defence is endeavouring to train its First community Responders (Khriekesa Pelikrou) to assist the community as reserved volunteers when dire situation arises. The training session is in progress and will go on till November 4.
MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur organized a fancy dress competition for classes Nursery to two. The programme began with a speech by Fr. Dr. P. S. Varghese, Principal. A variety of costumes were presented by the students and parents attended to witness the programme.
The Hindu Yuva Sanga organized cleanliness drive – a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Government Primary School, K. Sachu Colony, Dimapur on October 28. The drive took place at 7:00 am with the Convenor Saptarshee Paul. The members cleaned the school premises. The drive was deemed successful.
