The ruling BJP on Sunday followed the Congress in naming the candidates for the four assembly seats in Assam where byelections would be held on October 21. BJP's central election committee in New Delhi announced names of Bijay Malakar for Ratabari, Towfiqur Rahman for Jania, Rajen Borthakur for Rangapara and Nabanita Handique for Sonari seats.from
