Citizenship (Amendment) Act: After violence, Aasu calls off night protests for a week

After reports of miscreants joining their protests after evening and resorting to violence by taking advantage of the darkness, All Assam Students’ Union (Aasu) on Friday announced that they will conclude the protests against the now amended Citizenship Act by 5 pm for the next one week.
