A group of 17 students and young professionals from Assam stuck in the city, who had been desperately trying to reach home, was conned out of Rs 80,000 by a fraudster, who promised to drive them home in a bus. But the travel agent turned incommunicado once the members transferred the money online. Officers of Bidhannagar City Police acted swiftly and got the conman to return the money.from
