The post-mortem report of an elephant calf which was found dead on December 2 has revealed the presence of anthrax at the Dehing Patkai Elephant Reserve in Dibrugarh district. Home to over 200 elephants, the forest department has decided to conduct a vaccination drive to prevent the spread of the bacterial infection.from
