For the first time in more than a month, the daily Covid positivity rate in Assam dropped below 4%. Even though the state recorded 65 more Covid deaths in the last 24 hours, the recovery rate inched up to 86.28%. Health officials termed it as a clear indication of the improving Covid scenario in the state. Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has predicted a drastic recovery by June 7.
