Govt to acquire new landmass to extend Kaziranga Nat’l Park

A big landmass, encompassing over 452 hectares in the northern bank of the Brahmaputra, will be added to the Kaziranga National Park (KNP), a Unesco world heritage site, making it a safe habitat for wildlife crossing the river during the monsoon.
