‘In 2020, 4 NE states registered less than 50% births, Mizoram bright spot’

Four of the seven northeastern states have failed to register even 50% of the births within the prescribed time limit of 21 days. This was revealed in the Civil Registration System data for 2020, released by the Centre early this week.
