Union minister of state for petroleum and natural gas Rameswar Teli launched the pilot rollout of methanol-blended M-15 petrol in Tinsukia on Saturday. The M-15 petro, which is a blend of 15% methanol and 85% gasoline, can help lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emission by about 5 to 10%.
