The Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has conducted a preliminary survey to construct a storm water drain, covering a 2km stretch from the Guwahati station at Paltanbazar to Bharalumukh, along the railway tracks. The drain will be at least 8-10 feet wide.from
