Kiphire prepares for Mega legal camp on October 31

Thousands of citizens will be benefited from the Mega legal camp which will be organised by the Nagaland State Legal Service Authority (NSLSA) & Kiphire District Legal Service Authority (KDLSA) on October 31. This was disclosed at the presentation of the consultative meeting held today at the DC’s conference hall with Head of Departments and the District Administration by Limasenla, Project Coordinator NSLSA.

 

Looking forward to the legal camp, Reny Wilfred (IAS) ADC, who was addressing the gathering appealed to NSLSA and KDLSA to help people benefit out of the camp and also requested, “if the camp can concentrate and give them at least five take away in any forms then it will be a huge benefit.”

 

Assuring all possible support towards the camp from the District Administration, Wilfred asked the Food & Civil Supplies Department to reach the target of 6000 beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantra Ujjwala Yojana scheme. He also asked the bank to at least open account for 1000 account and assured that the District Administration will see to it that the Aadhaar machine is installed at the camp site so that there will be no hindrance for any available schemes.

 

Wilfred also appealed to the Head of Departments and especially Medical, Soil & Water Conservation, DRDA, Agri & Allied, Industries, Social Welfare, Food & Civil Supplies and Banks to put up stalls with adequate information and facilities available for the citizens.

 

Limasenla, Project Coordinator NSLSA who gave a detail objective of the camp appealed the HoDs to collaborate with the Legal Service Authority by way of putting up stalls with enough information so that schemes meant for the citizens are made aware.

 

She also said that during the camp, legal service will be made available for citizens and added benefit like ST/SC, birth certificates, Aadhaar cards and other documents will be made with concession for citizens. She appealed the HoDs and gathering to disseminate maximum information.

 

She appealed the NST department to come with Senior Citizens Scheme where they can travel freely and also to Social Welfare Department to request the government to enhance the Old Age Beneficiaries during the camp.

 

Longiba SDO (C) who also spoke on during the meeting, expressed hope that the citizens will benefit lot form the camp from various departments as the only scheme the villagers know is MGNRGA.
