Kohima, October 25 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya will be attending the Award presentation programme of the NITTE University, Mangaluru where the University will be honoring two eminent social workers from the North East with Honoris Causa on October 26. The recipients of the Award are Latsam Khimun of Arunachal Pradesh and Ramkui Jeme from Assam.
Governor Acharya will also be attending the Moodlakatte Institute of Technology at Kundapura, Karnataka on October 27 as the Chief Guest.
A press release from the PRO to Governor stated that Chairman, Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, Sidharth Shetty has called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan Kohima and has assured to sponsor students for Engineering and MBA seats from North East NAMASTE States, where the students will have to pay for the food only.
The Governor will also be attending the India International Centre’s Annual Festival “Experiencing North East” at New Delhi on October 29. Highlights of the day’s programme include an evening of classical piano and vocals by Nise Meruno, food festival, film screening and traditional dance and music.
