Three children found

Dimapur, November 26 (MExN): The office of the District Child protection Unit (DCPU) Dimapur has informed that three children, who are also siblings, have been found and kept under the care and protection of the DCPU. The children has been identified as Isti (9/M), Honu (7/M) and Rahul (1-1.5/M) all children of Ajay (father) and (L) Vilolo (mother). According to a press release from Pikato E Muru, District Child Protection Officer, the temporary address of the father is Railway Gate, Dimapur and the permanent address is Tekuri Village, Tengani, Police Station Borpathat, Golaghat District, Assam. In this regard, the DCPU has requested the father Ajay or anyone from their close relative to contact the DCPU (9612130083), Child Welfare Committee (8118964825) or Childline (1098) for restoring the children back to the father.

 

 

Kohima Police cracks down on crimes in the city

Kohima, November 26 (MExN): The Kohima police on November 24 intercepted one Maruti Suzuki Ecco bearing Registration No. NL01/H-2079 near Theja Petrol Pump (Kiruphema village) and recovered a total of 170 kgs (approx) of ‘suspected contraband ganja (cannabis)’ in the possession of Avolü and Veriku Doulo. A case has been registered in this regard, a case has been registered under Kohima Sechu Zubza Police station. In a separate incident, the Kohima police intercepted one vehicle bearing Registration No. NL 08A-2368 and recovered 40 (Fourty) cases of IMFL from the accused namely Pezatuo Rupre-o (50 yrs) and Kevi Rupre-o (30 yrs). The two persons were arrested for further investigation who later admitted to their guilt of illegal transportation of IMFL, a press release from PRO Kohima informed. Accordingly, Non-FIR case have been registered and the two accused forwarded to the Magistrate/SDO (c) Sechu Zubza for further course of necessary legal action.

 

Orientation program on skill development at YMC

Dimapur, November 26 (MExN): The Yemhi Memorial College (YMC) organised an orientation program on skill development course along with parents’ teachers’ meeting in association with Pinnacle Skills, Dimapur, a partner of National Skills Development Corporation on November 26 at the College Conference Hall. Debojyoti Sarkar, Head of Operation, Pinnacle Skills, Dimapur was the resource person. The college also introduced a skill development course on ‘Retail Sales Associate’ to for BA & B Com 6th semester students together with regular course programme undergoing academic semester (Dec-May, 2019) to ensure placement opportunity for the students immediately after their graduation degree.

 

DMC informs on trade license renewal

Dimapur, November 26 (MExN): The Dimapur Council (DMC) has informed that the renewal of trade license for the year 2019 shall commence from December 1. Therefore all the traders, business establishment and shopkeepers have been informed to renew their respective trade license without fail.
