DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 26 (MExN): The Association of Offroaders Nagaland (AON) is all set to organize the fifth chapter of its annual extreme motorsport event, Offroad Maestro, from November 28 to 30 at Noune Resort, Seithekiema, Dimapur.
“Noune Resort is an ideal place in the midst and mists of scenic nature. It is an eco-friendly resort which moots Naga traditions and culture, equipped with modern amenities surrounded by mountains and valleys,” informed a press note from the AON.
Offroad Maestro is an extreme offroad competitive event to test the competitor and his machine. Each year participants from across Northeast compete for the top honours. A three day endurance motorsport event where the competitors and their machines will be pushed to the limit of their abilities through extreme terrain and environment and this year’s event will push the envelope a further more. This is one of those few extreme motorsport events that are also held at night. The competitors will be tested through special stages, manoeuvre over obstacles (rough, terrain, steep gradient, slush pits and mud ruts); natural or artificial and also check their ability to use recovery equipments. After a tough offroading day, the competitors will halt for the night in the tents overlooking the artificial lake at the resort as they prepare for the next day.
