Dibrugarh hit by floods again, over 1,618 affected

Less than a week after deluge-hit Dibrugarh district had slowly limped back to normalcy, a fresh wave of floods has hit the district, leaving 1,618 people affected. On Saturday, nine villages of the district were submerged by flood waters following sporadic but heavy spells of rainfall in the past 48 hours.
