National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and the Assam Human Rights Commission (AHRC) have registered two separate cases against the alleged torture of three women at the Burha police outpost in Darrang district demanding strict action against those responsible. While NHRC filed the case on Wednesday, AHRC did so on Thursday.from
