Guwahati Police has denied permission to the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) to hold an antiCAA rally in Guwahati on March 18 in the presence of JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh and SFI national secretary Mayukh Biswas. Addressing the media here on Friday, SFI state president Kashyap Choudhury and secretary Nirangkush Nath alleged that some Hindutva outfits have lodged a complaint before police to stop their meeting in Hailakandi, where Aishe is the invited speaker, the next day.
