Assam: Liquor shops shut after Centre's new guidelines

The ​Assam government on Wednesday stopped the sale and production of liquor, two days after it had allowed IMFL and country spirit shops, liquor wholesale warehouses, bottling plants, distilleries and breweries to start operations.
