Madrassas are legacy of Muslim League govt in Assam: Himanta Biswa Sarma

Assam education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said the government-run madrassas, which the BJP-led state government will close down and convert into general schools in November, are the legacy of the Muslim League government in state that grew during the subsequent Congress rule.
