Gauhati HC orders ‘status quo’ on BTC executive council formation

The Gauhati High Court on Friday ordered “status quo” on the formation of the new executive council of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) after hearing a challenge petition filed by former chief executive member (CEM) of the council, Hagrama Mohilary, and other elected members of Bodoland People’s Front (BPF). The court will hear the matter again on December 22.​
