30,000 teachers get appointment letters in poll-bound Assam

In the biggest-ever recruitment exercise in the state just before the assembly elections, Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Friday distributed appointment letters to nearly 30,000 school and junior college teachers at a function at the Sarusajai Sports Complex here on Friday.
