48 dead, 3,299 new cases in Assam

Assam recorded more than 3,299 fresh cases of Covid-19 even, despite the number of tests reducing by about 30,000 in the last 24 hours. Forty-eight people lost their lives to the virus during the same time, pushing up the toll to 246 in the last five days.
