The three-member bench of Supreme Court led by chief justice Ranjan Gogoi on Friday ordered the government to notify transfer of Assam’s National Register of Citizen updating coordinator Prateek Hajela to Madhya Pradesh on deputation within seven days. Hajela is a 1995-batch IAS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre.
