The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of the state police on Tuesday arrested an assistant professor of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) while he was allegedly accepting a bribe. The accused, Manoj Kumar Baishya (37), who is posted in the department of forensic medicine at GMCH, was allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 8,000 from the complainant, Haren Kumar, who wanted a post-mortem report of his brother.
