The coronavirus pandemic has had a debilitating impact on Assam's tourism industry with tour operators estimating an overall loss to the tune of Rs 200 crores. With movement of tourists coming to a standstill from the second half of March, sources in the tourism department said that the loses may go up further when the total is calculated after the lockdown ends.from
