About 1,600 ministerial staff selected for the proposed 200 additional Foreigners Tribunals (FTs) for hearing the appeals of over 19 lakh people excluded from the National Register of Citizens (NRC), are questioning the state government’s lackadaisical attitude in getting these tribunals operational and the status of their appointments as they are yet to get appointment letters.
