Congress deputy leader in the Lok Sabha and Kaliabor MP Gaurav Gogoi on Sunday wrote to Tamil Nadu chief minister K Palaniswami to instruct the authorities concerned to take appropriate steps against those accused in the alleged gang-rape of a 22-year old woman hailing from Assam. Gogoi further asked Palaniswami to provide for the medical treatment and financial support to the survivor.
