Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura have received normal rainfall, while Meghalaya is the only northeastern state to experience “excess rainfall” during the four-month-long monsoon season which has officially ended on September 30. Mizoram, Nagaland and Manipur all recorded deficit rainfall.
