Tarun Gogoi sir was a veritable Bhishma Pitamaha for Cong workers in Assam: Debabrata Saikia

I am distraught at the demise of our esteemed leader, Tarun Gogoi sir, who was the only person to become chief minister of Assam for three successive terms. Gogoi sir was an outspoken leader, a veritable Bhishma Pitamaha for Congress workers of Assam. His death has left us grief-stricken and rudderless. He had become an institution in himself during his lifetime and his demise has left a vacuum, not only in Assam, but in India as a whole.
