The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday formally said that names of persons who have not been included in the National Register of Citizens (NRC) containing the name of Indian citizens living in Assam are will not be struck off from the voters’ list and will continue to have their voting rights when the state goes to polls in next few months.
