The death toll in the ongoing wave of floods in Assam went up to three, all being children, in the last 24 hours. The number of affected people also climbed to 5.7 lakh of which over 1.4 lakh are children on Tuesday as the situation worsened to “above normal and severe” at many places of the state.from
