Two die as floods inundate 21 Assam districts, over 3 lakh affected

Assam floods claimed two human lives on Monday — the first deaths reported in the state due to the deluge this year — as the rising water of the Brahmaputra and its tributaries inundated 21 of Assam’s 34 districts affecting more than 3.63 lakh people. Over 2.58 lakh were affected in 16 districts on Sunday.
