Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday directed the police to file the chargesheet against the perpetrators involved in lynching All Assam Students' Union (Aasu) leader Animesh Bhuyan to death on Monday afternoon in Jorhat district within one month and asked special DGP GP Singh to personally supervise the probe. The CM added that the "culprits involved in the incident would be tried in a fast-track court to hand them exemplary punishment".
