Supreme Court admits plea against Gauhati HC verdict upholding Assam law against madrassas

The Supreme Court on Tuesday admitted an appeal, challenging a February 4 Gauhati High Court verdict that upheld an Assam law, which led to conversion of state-run madrassas to general government schools across the state.
