Chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal was greeted with black flags by the activists of All Assam Students' Union (Aasu) and Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP), who were protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), in Majuli on Tuesday. This was the first time that Sonowal was visiting his home constituency since the CAA came into effect.from
