An intricately carved figure of a Pala Empire Sun God surprised construction workers when they were recently digging the earth for the building of the new administrative office of Cotton University. The historical find, weighing about 200 kg and about 3ft tall, has also taken the university authority by surprise. The figure was lying just a few meters under the earth's surface.from
